General Description: Swamp White Oak are slow growing unless if optimal sites are found the tree tends to grow very rapidly. This tree can live up to 300 years. Is considered to have a shallow root system so it is easy to transplant. The leaves can be smaller in size along with more uniform lobes. The acorns also can be found on very long stems. Most often confused with Bur Oak.
